The logo symbolizes quality, comfort, elegance and above all fashion leaders on the market. In short the logo literally means ‘BEAUTIFUL WOMEN’.
The Bella Donna Brand was created with the founders’ passion and dedication for the shoe industry but more importantly the importance of good shoes. She is and always will be the soul of Bella Donna.
The company started as a shoe retail business in Curepipe Mauritius in the 1990’s but as the passion grew, it’s founder realized that the local market lacked ‘good shoes’. At this point the company opened a boutique concept in 2001 under the name Bella Donna. The concept was to provide a mix of products that symbolizes quality, comfort, fashion and at the same time the company wanted to prove to people the ‘right’ pair of shoes exists and it fits.
The boutiques’ success is due to its uniqueness and exclusiveness in every collection. The company wanted to relate to its customers by creating the everyday fashion wear with a touch of elegance to give women the right attitude. Our founder always used to quote Manolo Blahnik :
